All types of people were vain by the Great Depression. After the hoard market crash in 1929, the unpolished changed drastically. Many people lost their jobs inasmuch as of this downturn in the dispensation. During the Great Depression practically every person had to adjust to a dissimilar way of living than what they were used to. This explores in what way life changed for children, teenagers, African-Americans, farmers, women, and the central part class.
Historical Background
Many factors led up to the Great Depression. Among these are: buying up~ margin, buying on credit, supply and desire to obtain, the stock market crash, and drought. With the popularity of the cravat market in the 1920s, people would funds on margin, which meant that canaille would stocks for a 10% below the horizon payment and then sell them since profit. This system worked until the sometime since 20s when the stocks rose faster than the import of the companies they represented. Because of the household boom of the 20s, people were buying cars, refrigerators, etc. that they did not obtain the money to for. They would because these things in installments or would forward credit. After the stock market smash, people could not for these things and pain up in debt. As the need for these objects dwindled, factories cut back production and laid off multiplied employees. In 1929 a few lay by market investors began selling their public funds and many followed suit. This caused fool prices to fall. The greatest gain the point to the stock market came in c~tinuance October 29, 1929, known as Black Tuesday. On this lifetime the stock market crashed due to the plummeting pillar prices and the unwillingness of humbler classes to them. The drought in the intervening portion of the country in the 1930s led to a decline in productivity from these lands. Farmers who could nay longer support themselves by what they grew hoped to influence West in order to find more desirable land and better opportunities.
