Health & Safety
Indoor & Outdoor Activities.
It is material when planning Indoor & Outdoor activities to take the following into exploration into principles;
The individual needs, abilities and ages of the children & young the public
Certain Risk factors & their management
Mobility, sensory & curative needs
The needs of carers & the extended tribe
The environment & the services that are profitable
A duty of care; to through all ages. have the child’s safety & well-being in mind.
The desired outcome, by clear aims & objectives based around the EYFS framing.
Lines of responsibilities; everyone has responsibleness for the health & safety of the children & young persons. Each member of staff needs unclouded reporting responsibilities.

Monitoring
Health and preservation is monitored within the Pre School setting through ;
Completing Daily risk assessments
By having sunny & comprehensive policies & procedures, which cover all aspects of health & safety
For illustration, Lost child, behaviour, house rules, safeguarding children and young folks , fire safety, emergency cover for of medicine needs, medical and medicine permission
By completing checks required ~ means of Law, for example the electrics are checked ~ dint of. a qualified electrician every year
By checking the Accident/falling record book regularly.
Ensuring the visitors volume is checked daily
Smoke alarms checked hebdomadary and recorded
That a Fire avoid plan is in place and spirit drill is practised each term
