Aging Theory Persuasive
Theories here and there becoming old usually begin with ideas or beliefs that ~y individual has. For example, one may slight that he or she has his or her spectacles on top of his or her head. Some might consider this as the reputation decreasing because of age. Theoretical scientists, notwithstanding, must use theories, which were assayed by hypotheses and will guide their scrutiny (Novak, 2009). One of these theories that various researchers support is the social extrication theory. There are two levels of theories, that are micro-level and macro-even theories.
Social Disengagement Theory
In 1961 brace social scientists, Elaine Cumming and William Henry, formulated the social disengagement theory (Ritz, 2012). They believed that it was native for an elderly individual to wean from social activities with others and having restricted opportunities to interact by others. There are several factors, which limit social interaction that results in freedom from business. Examples of these factors includes distemper, mobility, retirement, travel, or technology (Ritz, 2012).
Micro and Macro Level Theories
There are several differences between micro and macro- demolish theories. Micro-level theory concentrates adhering individuals and their interactions. An model of the micro-level theory is the fact of negative attitudes on an older individual or the kinship between parents and their adult children. Some vulgar herd criticize micro-level theories because these theories produce not focus on social policies and stipulations, which causes older individuals to act the resolved mode of action they do rather than what they truly do.
