A Good Man is Hard To Find

These values are reflected in Flannery O’Connor’s compendious story, “A Good Man is Hard To Find.” The direct character, the grandmother, always gets that which she wants and is worried respecting if she looks like a excellent person. The grandmother judges others allowing that they are a “good man” or not, moreover in fact she is not a ready person. The vocable Toombsbaro in the story is deserved a towns name, but if the vocable is broken down, it sounds a haphazard like “tomb”. A tomb is a sepulture chamber, or a house for the dead. The originator makes up this name for a township to foreshadow that death is future. Also, while the family is driving without interrupti~ the road, "They pass a large cotton field with five or six graves fenced in the central part of it, like a small island.”(368). When the family sees the graves, they carry into effect not realize that that will exist them in the ground soon. The group of genera also has six people in it and in that place were six graves. This is suitable one of the images that the family seems that is really their confess destiny. According to Alex Link in his portion “Means, Meaning and Meditated Space in A Good Man is Hard to Find.” he explains that O’Connor uses landmarks in the same state as grave yards, so relate to the reader. So it is easier since us to understand that she is belonging landmarks that we all know, to departure.
